Required Background Understanding

The last book of the Bible, called Apocalypse or Revelation (depending on the version of your Bible), is a detailed prophecy about the end of the world as we know it: a decay of society, assisted by our spiritual enemies, the destruction of it, and the salvation of a relatively small number of people by God.

What the Threat Is:

End of the world.

Why this is done:

Eventually God judges His creation.

Evidence that this is Really Happening:

1. The tremendous promotion of evil in our society by governments recently is an indication that they are preparing an environment, on a spiritual level, suitable for the Antichrist to emerge.

3. Waterways turning to blood (or at least as red as blood, the composition not being declared).

   "And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood."
   (Revelation 16:4 KJV)

   Waterways around the world recently are discovered to have rapidly changed to a blood-red colour. Officials have done tests but we're unable to find any announcement of such results. Instead, news articles only report wild speculations of scientists trying to explain this, but not any actual test results.

   Here are examples of the phenomenon:

• Pool of water next to the Dead Sea turns blood red before holy day of Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement)

4. Blood Red Sky: Blood red sky blankets city near Shanghai sparking Armageddon fear

   According to the prophecy, this is the number associated with the Beast:

Is What's Happening a Topic of Mainstream Discussion?

Nope. They much rather talk about sports, as usual, than Biblical prophecy.

What the Truth Is:

There is some match between the events of the world and the patterns in the Biblical prophecy of Apocalypse. As Christ put it, in the Bible:

[32] "Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
[33] So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors."
(Bible, Matthew Chapter 24:32-33)

Why is this Happening?

Maybe God is too offended of our decadence, in so many critical ways, to wait for the usual after-death time for Judgment to punish us. One of these offenses is elective abortion.

Misunderstandings:

A critical misunderstanding of the Apocalypse is the belief that it is God's will and it must happen.

Actually God gives us a choice, especially in advance of Judgment, and the destruction of the Book of Relvelation can be averted, if we repent, the same as it was in Nineveh. This is as certain as God's goodness, and is a key difference between divine and demonic prophecy (the latter is just supposedly inescapable doom). Perhaps, if we repent, we will have a new heaven and a new earth, or the old one will be refurbished, but either way we will avoid punishment and, more importantly, the loss of most of humanity.

What You Can Do About It:

Spread truth. Encourage righteousness. Oppose evil and definitely don't vote for or otherwise consent to it. Prepare to survive and to be judged. Repent. Help others do the same.
